Vote for President Obama to speak at the Denver School of Science and Technology

The Denver School of Science and Technology is in the running to have President Obama speak at their senior graduation commencement, but they need your help.

Between now and Thursday at 10:00 p.m. you can vote for the DSST video.  The video with the most votes will secure President Obama to speak at their graduation ceremony.

Vote by clicking here: DSST VIDEO

You might have to click through to get to the DSST video.

DSST is an extraordinary school!

At DSST, half of the students come from economically disadvantaged families. 62% are Hispanic or African American. Half are first generation college-bound students. Most came to DSST at least one level behind in math and English, but they closed achievement gaps – only a 4% difference between income groups in 10th grade reading scores. Of DSST’s first three graduating classes, 100% have been accepted into a four-year college and less than 7% of graduates needed remedial courses. 47%  enter STEM fields in college, of whom 19% are women and 59% are minority.
